We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice (the more notice the better!) if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us offer the spot to someone on our waitlist who is also seeking support.

  • Changes made within 24–48 hours of your scheduled consultation may incur a 50% fee of your consultation cost.

  • Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full consultation fee.

We understand that life happens and emergencies do come up. If something unexpected occurs, please reach out to us at hello@nutritionbybec.com.au.

To cancel or reschedule, please click the link in your appointment confirmation email to cancel. Following this, navigate back to the booking platform and rebook. Need a hand? Email hello@nutritionbybec.com.au.

A Medicare rebate is eligible for clients who have a valid Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) or Team Care Arrangement (TCA) provided by their GP (general practitioner). These referrals allow you to claim a rebate for up to five allied health consultations (including dietetics) per calendar year.

Please note:

  • This referral must be initiated by a GP only, not by a specialist or other
    healthcare provider.

  • gap fee applies to each consultation.

  • You’ll need to process your own Medicare rebate via myGov after
    payment.

Make sure to provide your referral documentation prior to your first  appointment so we can apply it correctly. If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, your GP can guide you through the process.

Yes Australian clients can claim consults on their private health cover, if eligible. We recommend contacting your insurer directly to check if this applies to you.

Following the consult you will be provided with an invoice which you can use to claim back a rebate if you have eligible cover.

Please fill in the intake form sent to you within your booking confirmation via email.

If you have recent blood tests, send a copy to hello@nutritionbybec.com.au.

If required, recommended blood test can be recommended in the initial consult.

You do not need a referral to make a booking.

However, if you have a chronic health condition you may be eligible for a subsidised Chronic Disease Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement plan – the first step is to chat with your GP.
